You agree to provide accurate, truthful information and update it as needed.

You must be 18 years or older to create a seller account or post items for sale.

2. Listings & Content

You are solely responsible for the items, services, or information you post. This includes:

• Ensuring accuracy of descriptions and pricing

• Complying with all applicable laws and regulations

• Not listing prohibited items (see our Firearms Policy and future restricted items list)

We reserve the right to remove any listing, content, or account that violates our policies or harms the platform or community.

3. Payments & Transactions

All online payments are securely processed through Stripe.

Hootinanny may charge fees for premium features such as featured listings, AI tools, or store setup services. You’ll see clear pricing before checkout.

If you choose to meet or pay locally, we are not responsible for the outcome of that transaction.

4. Refund Policy

Digital services (like AI tools or store setup fees) are non-refundable once delivered.
For product purchases, please contact the seller directly. Each vendor may set their own return and refund policies.

If you believe a user is acting fraudulently, please report it to support@hootinanny.com.

5. Community Guidelines

You agree not to use Hootinanny for:

• Posting illegal or dangerous content

• Abusing other members

• Spamming or scamming

• Circumventing fees for features/services

We reserve the right to suspend or ban users who violate these terms.

6. AI Features (When Enabled)

If you use our optional AI-powered tools (e.g., listing assistant), you agree not to use them to generate illegal or abusive content. AI output is a suggestion only—you are responsible for all final text posted under your name.

7. Limitation of Liability

Hootinanny provides a platform for users to connect and transact. We are not liable for:

• Any damages resulting from sales, rentals, or listings

• The behavior of individual buyers or sellers

• Content uploaded by users

Use of the platform is at your own risk.

8. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of Hootinanny after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
