Supporting a Fundraiser
You can support a fundraiser by purchasing products listed in the Fundraiser category.
Here's how:
- Go to Support Local Causes
- Browse active fundraisers
- Purchase tickets, goods, or services that support the cause
100% of your payment goes directly to the seller or cause organizer (minus standard platform/processing fees).
Donating Items to a Fundraiser
Have something you want to donate to a fundraiser?
- Contact the fundraiser organizer directly
- They can list the item under their store
- Funds from that sale will go toward the cause
Starting a Fundraiser
Want to raise money for a person or cause?
Steps:
- Create a Vendor Account — it’s 100% free
- Set up your storefront (we can help!)
- List items under the Fundraiser category
- Share your fundraiser page with your community
Examples:
- Selling dinner tickets for a benefit event
- Posting donated items to raise funds
- Offering services (like yardwork) to help a family in need
Be sure to select "Fundraiser" as your category when listing products. This ensures your items show up on the Support Local Causes page.
No Extra Fees
There are no additional fundraising fees. Just the same 4% impact fee (plus Stripe processing) as regular listings.
